2007-08 AUSTRALIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS - RQYS at Manly (Qld)

Commences Wednesday 2/1/08 through to Friday 11/1/08 (inclusive)

The Invitation Race scheduled for 2/1/08 was abandoned due to strong winds and will not be resailed.

Heat 1 scheduled for Thursday 3/1/08 was sailed today 4/1/08 in 18-22 knots of breeze.

Heat 2 scheduled for Friday 4/1/08 was sailed 5/1/0 and was was won by Fire Stopping.

After a postponement of Heat 3 from the normal start time of 2.10 heat 3 started at 4.20pm and was adondoned during the race due to storm activity and a lack of breeze.

Heat 3 was sailed on Monday 7/1/08 in an 8-10 knots north-easter and was won by Fluid Building (Skye McFadyen). Click here for results.

Heat 4 was sailed on Tuesday morning 8/1/08 in a 12-16 knot south-easter and was won by "Typhoon T Shirts" (Mitchell White). Click here for results.

Heat 5 was also sailed on Tuesday afternoon 8/1/08 in a 19-24 knot south-easter and was also won by "Typhoon T Shirts". Click here for results.

Heat 6 was sailed on Thursday 10/1/08 in a 13-23 knot south-easter and was won by "Typhoon T Shirts" (Mitchell White). Click here for results.

Fluid wins State Titles
November, 2007

Fluid Building Services from Manly skippered by Skye McFadyen with crew Alana Clancy have won the State Championships. The final two heats were held at Manly 16ft Skiff Club in lighter breezes with the first two heats being held at Illawarra Yacht Club. The conditions at Manly suited the girls perfectly and they sailed particluarly well in difficult conditions and tough competition. Second overall was Sheads First National from Middle Harbour and third was Fire topping from Manly. Click here for More News
